Film look

This is what I'm shooting for my film's animation to look like, for that kind of sketchy feel since cleaning up my whole film really isn't an option and I've gotten excited for this look already so never mind cleanup.

And my main bg for the film, most of my other shots are cutting in closer to this one, which is great cause I'm not a fan of drawing layouts :p Yet I'll need to figure out how to make them match with my animation, so they'll have some kind of sketchy feel to them as well.

  11. Are you going to be colouring it in this sketchy way too, or with standard flat colours? I really like these drawings and think it would be cool if the finished shots looked like these. A pencil-crayon-y look to the whole film would be neat

  12. Hey Adam,
yes! I will be colouring the frames like this, I really liked my original coloured designs for the sprite and I think it'll translate well to animation. 8)

  18. Yeah... Well I did't even know there was a film of Rikki tikki tavi until after I had the idea to do a mongoose. I thought I was on to something... But alas, chuck jones beat me to the punch... Jerk.

Cool stuff Amanda, though it doesn't look like you've updated in a while. Tisk* tisk*.

I hope to see you film soon. And good luck with industry day!
